Mike is an insurance broker in his 40's who likes his job. He is the type who is curious about himself and what makes him tick. He’s always known there was more to life than just a paycheck and is always looking for ways to better himself.
Curiosity got the best of him, and he decided he had to know his Given Talent, even though he had no intent of changing things. Here is what Mike said afterwards…
“My discovery of my Given Talent that developed in the days and weeks following The Clarifier® was quite incredible. It certainly created new questions that I felt compelled to answer about myself. I really became focused on my talents and turned those talents toward the development of a new business.
"At first this (his Given Talent) may appear to be vague but when you really think about it this is how I operate on every level whether it be relationships, sports, or in the particular case of starting a new business. I have applied these talents that come naturally to me in an entrepreneurial pursuit.
"The truth be told I hope we (he and his business partners) have great success and truly believe we will, but more importantly I have had more fun this last year with this project than you could ever imagine. Most important of all and I mean this with all humility I found I am very good at this (his Given Talent) and can't wait for the next opportunity to reveal itself so I can take that which I have stored for future application and even get closer to the bull's-eye."
Mike remains in the insurance business and is developing his new business on the side.
Marcia is a seventy-some residential real estate salesperson. She has done well selling houses. She loves her job because she gets to help people. In addition to her “real job”, Marcia loves to garden in her spare time.
